For the initial wash, use clean water without detergent. Maintain washing temperatures below 30°C (86°F) and select a gentle or large load setting, avoiding soaking and color mixing. Use minimal detergent to prevent residue buildup; for heavily soiled areas, hand wash before machine washing. Incorporate a small amount of fabric softener to prolong fabric life. Avoid dry cleaning and tumble drying; if necessary, use a low heat setting and keep out of direct sunlight. Do not apply detergent directly on the fabric to prevent fading. Proper care will extend the lifespan of cotton fabric, maintaining its softness and comfort.
